Greetings from Florida!

Sammie and I arrived safe and sound in Florida last Tuesday.  We're enjoying our visit with my family!  Hi Family!!  The first night there, we saw Adam's band concert.  Awesome job, Adam!  Sammie and I went to the Great Explorations Children's Museum one day and had dinner with my Mom's friends.  They like to spoil Sammie with gifts and of course, she doesn't mind one bit.  We've done some shopping and eating out.  Sammie went fishing with Uncle jimmy and Adam and caught and released 11 various fish and one crab!  She had a great time!  She is also practicing T-ball with them since she's missing practice and has her first game the day after we get home.  Here are some pics...

Florida, here I come!

Sammie and I are on our way to FL to visit my family (Mom, sister, BIL, and nephew - Evie and lots of fish, too).  My hubby will be here within the hour to take us to the airport.  I'm not fond of the travel day.  Airports are not fun places these days.  But later tonight we'll be at my nephew's band concert!  That's pretty exciting!  And we're looking forward to it!! 

I'll try to post some updates.  If you need anything, you can email me and I'll get back to you when I can.  I don't always have Internet access daily in FL.

Stampahowlics Group Meeting

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the Stampahowlics group meeting.  We had so much fun!  And saw some great demonstrations and ideas!  Here are the projects we made:

Huh?

I received a swimsuit in the mail today that I purchased for my upcoming trip to FL. On the packaging is a fairly good size white label with black words that says...

"Designed with a focus on style and fit, MIB fashion swimwear is not intended for daily use in a chlorine pool"

Huh? It's a swimsuit.  Ok, so I called the company and was basically told it's not for daily use in chlorinated water, more intermittent or for lounging around.  I don't know about you, but I don't make it a habit to lounge around in my swimsuit.  It is not my idea of comfort.  She said that she felt for a vacation it would be ok if I rinsed it really good after swimming.  But that the elastic will break down with continued use.  Hmmm...that's not good!

Happy Mother's Day!

Here is the Precious Moment figurine that my daughter gave me today.  She picked it out herself and was so proud to give it to me.  Such a sweetie!  I think she did a great job!

Sorry I haven't posted lately.  I really haven't stamped anything.  I'm hoping that will change this week.  Although we have a pretty busy schedule and we're leaving for FL soon to visit my family.  Sammie's very excited to see everyone down there!  I did make some Mother's Days gifts for my Mom and MIL.  But I can't show you yet since my Mom checks the blog.  Hi MOM!
