Stampin' Today!!

Hello Everyone.  It's been busy around here lately, but I did get some stamping in today.  I'm preparing for the Anniversary Open House on Saturday.  Did you RSVP yet?  Let me know by Thursday if you want to come by.  Anyway, I have 2 of the projects planned.  Here's a couple of pics...

First, a card featuring the Petals & Paisleys designer series paper, the Polka Dots & Paisley stamp set, and scallops created with the corner punch.  Oh, a fun fold, too! 

This card was CASEd from Debbie Olson and changed slightly.  Thank you.

Secondly, a bookmark made from a jumbo paperclip, metal edge tags, and the Petals & Paisleys designer series paper.

Thirdly... I'm still working on thirdly.  Hopefully, I'll have it done and can post the pic tomorrow.

Crazy weather, isn't it?

There must be a 1/2" of slushy ice outside on the pavement.  Yuck!  And the rain is still coming down.  The yard is a flooded and icy mess.  Not fun! 

So, the library class on Thursday night was a lot of fun!  It was a great goup of ladies and they were really enjoying themselves.  Although I think we'll be lucky if the library doesn't kick us out next time.  They were pretty rowdy there at the end!!  :)  And some good news and bad news.  Good news...I'll be making an appearance at the library again!  Yea!  Bad news...probably not till the Fall.  Oh well...

Just a couple of business items as February comes to a close.

• Open House, Saturday, March 3rd.  Check my class schedule for details.
• Sell-a-Bration is ending.  I need any last minute orders by tomorrow, Monday, February 26th.
• The $99 starter kit promotion is also ending.  If you're thinking about becoming a demonstrator for Stampin' Up!, contact me now!
• Spring mini catalogs have been mailed.  If you didn't get one and want one, let me know or view it online starting March 1st.  This mini catalog runs until the end of June.

Guess that's it for now.  I haven't done any stamping in the last couple days, but I promise I will be forthcoming with some new stuff this week.

I did a little stamping today...

So, February is my 3 year Anniversary with Stampin' Up!  It sure doesn't seem that long.  It's been a lot of fun and I love being on the inside track of what's going on and what's new!  Well, the discount on all my supplies doesn't hurt either!  To celebrate my Anniversary, I'm having an Anniversary Open House on March 3rd from 10am-4pm.  You'll spend about an hour here and you'll do 3 make and takes (one using those cool chipboard coasters that are all the rage), snacks, door prizes, retired stamp sets for sale, and more!  Come on over and check it out!  RSVP required! 

I didn't do any stamping over the weekend, only cleaning.  But I did find some little things to stamp on that apparently I had put away.  So, hopefully later in the week, I'll have some of those to show you.  I also have my class at the Crete Library this week, so I'll have those samples, too.  Stay tuned!!

Hibernate no more!

Looks like we're back to our regular routine after staying inside for a couple days because of the snow.  Sammie is off to school and I am getting some things done around the house.  I didn't get any stamping done yesterday while we were hibernating, but I did get some cleaning and organizing done in my stamp area.  You know the kind, where you take everything out of the drawer, wipe it out, reorganize as it goes back in and throw out what you don't need.  Hopefully today I can do some more. 

Here's a picture of the swap card I did for the Spring mini catalog swap I'm in. I'll be receiving 20 card samples back.  Can't wait!!  You should be receiving your Spring mini catalogs in the next week or two.  This card uses a new set "polka dots and paisley", the matching designer series paper, and the new round tab punch!  It's done in Cool Carribean, So Saffron, and Taken with Teal.

Hello Snow...

Hope you are all home safe and sound tonight.  I had the pleasure of staying in all day.  And it looks like we'll be doing the same again tomorrow since the school is closed.  I did get my swap cards finished up for a Spring mini catalog swap I'm participating in.  But I forgot to take a picture, so I'll do that tomorrow.  Here's the last waterfall card we did on Saturday..

Ready for the snow?

Sammie and I did our grocery shopping today after school just in case we don't go out tomorrow.  Looks like it's going to be a good time to hibernate.  Lucky for me I have about 20-30 swap cards to design and create.  That will keep me pretty busy! ;)

Today, I made the treats for Sammie's class party on Wednesday.  Here's a pic of the finished product...

Happy Sunday!!

Sunday for us means pancakes and sausage for breakfast!  Sammie insists!!  Everyone enjoying the heat wave?  My thermometer says it's 18 degrees!  Whew!  And the Weather Channel tells me snow is on the way tomorrow...

Snow angels...

...made by my dog!  Yes, my dog makes snow angels.  He's constantly laying in the snow and wriggling on his back.  Here is the result of today's fun!  Click on the picture to enlarge it.
